Tom Merritt uses his 17 years of experience working for the United Parcel Service to help him in his current role as Business Agent for around 1,300 members working for UPS. The transition from member to Business Agent has presented Merritt with new challenges, including the reality that he now spends more time on the phone than on his feet. Merritt says he enjoys "the opportunity to participate in the labor movement and to make a difference, and to represent and help enforce a strong contract with UPS."
