Rodney Kalina
Business Representative
I started my Teamster career at Pepsi-Cola in 1994. I have served as Steward, Shop Secretary and Chief Shop Steward. I also served on several contract negotiation committees during my tenure. I have served on the budget, political education, voluntary organizing, and fair election committees at Local 688 throughout the years. I served as a delegate to the 2006 and 2011 International Brotherhood of Teamsters Conventions. I became a Trustee to the St. Louis Labor Healthcare Network in 2006 and as of 2019 I now serve as the Chairman of the St. Louis Labor Healthcare Network. In 2015 I was appointed to the Local 688 Executive Board as Trustee until I was appointed as a Business Representative for Local 688 in the Industrial Trades in 2019. In 2019 I was appointed Vice-President of the 688 Real Estate Corp.
I married my wife Carrie in 1992. Together we have four boys Adam, Paul, Anthony, and Aaron.
In 2019 we had our first grandson Roman.
